In depth

Verdict

Kathies Pet, Temper Lad and Irish Blessing are three against the field in this wide open seller and the vote is given to Kathies Pet. The selection was a fair fifth in a better race behind Space Star last time out and he will appreciate this easier grade and if he runs up to that mark he will be hard to beat. Temper Lad rates the main danger on his latest second behind Breezer but he is far from consistent and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Irish Blessing is another worthy of respect but he was behind the selection the last time they met and even on these revised terms he still has a little to find. Alessandro Severo is another that could go well as he was a fair fifth in a better race behind In Blue last time and he may improve for the step up in trip. Of the remainder Andy's Lad is from a yard that does well in this grade so is worth noting in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Kathies Pet.
