In depth

Verdict

Rose Crown had been well beaten over today’s distance before going close over 1m2f at Pontefract while Lafilia makes a quick reappearance having placed over 1m5f at Bath two days ago though this looks tougher. ROSIE ROYALE posted a better effort over the same distance at Bath last month on her second start after wind surgery. A course and distance winner off a higher mark in the past, she may prove good enough in this. Ripley slides further down the weights and the unexposed Cherries At Dawn goes handicapping for the first time.
