Verdict

David Evans has five of the nine entries but it will be a surprise if any are good enough against some smart opposition. Richard Hannon holds the key with SMAIH and Be Bold with preference for the former. He found Justice Good, who was completing a hat-trick, just too experienced for him at Windsor and will have come on enough to go one better. Be Bold has to concede him 4lb due to a comfortable victory over the minimum trip here last month and that may prove too much. Union Rose is also penalised for his very easy victory at Bath where he made most of the running to come home 7l clear. Blue Burmese didn't run anywhere near her previous form at Newbury and there may have been something amiss.
