Verdict

AIR OF YORK has plenty of weight but still looks the one. The handicapper has yet to catch up with him on the evidence of a decisive success last time, Gabriele Malune continues to catch the eye and claims a valuable 5lb and the gelding has winning form over the track. The move to a mile is a possible negative but he wasn't stopping when obliging by a comfortable 2l here last time. Nazzaa is likely to shake up the selection as he's not been beaten far on either start this season and will presumably look to make this a stamina test as he stays further, especially with Sophie Ralston claiming 7lb. The remainder are out of form currently with Living Leader best of the trio.
