In depth

Verdict

Cucklington won at Wincanton a couple of times last month but seems better at that track than anywhere else. He steps up a grade for this off a career-high mark and could find KIMBERLITE CANDY too hot to handle. It’s fair to say Tom Lacey’s novice hasn’t quite lived up to expectations since winning at Market Rasen on Boxing Day but his latest third at Exeter is working out well. Big Meadow is starting to slip down the weights and Millanisi Boy has won here in the past. Oneida Tribe won a minor contest at Towcester in February but then failed to complete at Warwick and is 7lb higher.
