Verdict

ICONIC GIRL is steadily improving and, despite failing to trouble the progressive Archive at Beverley last time, Andrew Balding’s filly drops in class today and has more scope than Ascot Day. The latter was placed in a higher grade over track and trip recently and should figure again while Foresee had been thereabouts at Kempton before undergoing wind surgery and Tony Carroll sent out last year’s winner. General Brook landed a double over track and trip last season and the unexposed Lzaaz could go well on his first outing for Alan King’s yard.
