Verdict
No recent winning form on offer though Captain Kendall scored at Lingfield in December. Mendacious Harpy has won a maiden race in 25 starts while last week’s Wolverhampton third Fossa has yet to win on Turf in 11 attempts. Buzz Boy makes the trip over from Ireland with headgear re-applied and has more scope than most but JUST FRED is also lightly raced and gets a speculative vote on only his third start in handicaps having finished closer at Brighton last time. Poor Duke won off today’s mark at Leicester last year though all four previous successes came over further.
