In depth
Verdict
A typically competitive nursery where strong cases can be made for at least half the field. However, Matt Blanc has improved with each outing to date and the Night Shift colt just edges a narrow vote over Bathwick Bill, Futoo and the potentially well treated Tardis. However, Matt Blanc got off the mark in good style in a decent maiden at Salisbury before a solid effort in defeat at Goodwood last time. That form is the best on offer here and, with the Richard Hannon team again hitting top form, Matt Blanc is a confident selection to expand upon an already impressive strike-rate from his Wiltshire-based handler's runners this term.
