Verdict
Some frustrating types come into opposition here and this makes limited appeal for a strong betting heat. Possible Pardon looked all over the winner before falling late in the race at Wincanton last month and is sure to be popular selection to gain compensation. However, his profile is not one of overall consistency so he is taken as a saver option only. Nordic Prince and French Executive could also figure strongly if they run up to their best, but a chance is taken that the drop in class will spark a revival in the fortunes of Somemanforoneman. He is incredibly well handicapped at present and reports from the gallops suggest that he has thrived since his finding the opposition too hot in a Listed race at Cheltenham and a valuable handicap at Bangor in his two latest outings.
