In depth

Verdict

The meeting gets underway with the first division of a weak fillies' handicap which in truth is little better than a seller. Few can boast to be in-form but a notable exception is dual purpose performer Scented Air who was an easy winner over the sticks at Ludlow last month. The six-year-old had the speed to win twice on the level last term and remains fairly treated on her all-weather form so is handed the vote. Molly's Secret has been a shade below her best of late but has claims on her second in better company over course and distance in November as she is just 1lb higher today. Eurolink Artemis only had a head to spare over Littleton Zephir when successful here in December. The latter can reverse the form on 7lb better terms but both disappointed last time out off similar marks to today and can be readily opposed.
