In depth

Verdict

Gert Lush is penalised for winning over course and distance last month and FESTIVAL DAY can take advantage. The latter missed out by only a short-head over today’s trip at Goodwood on her recent debut and Mark Johnston’s filly can open her account with normal progress. Anfield Girl failed to make all stepped up to 7f at Haydock last time but could still figure while Kodiellen took a backward step at Newbury though this faster ground may suit better.
