      Verdict

      A couple stand out in this. Daryana wasn’t beaten far when fourth in a handicap over a mile here last time but GLEEFUL is just preferred over today’s trip. The latter has also been handicapping but finished third at Chelmsford the last time she raced over 7f and David O’Meara’s filly may just edge affairs. The remainder have yet to threaten including Plum Duff, who was beaten a long way when placed over track and trip recently though Theban Air may have improved since last seen in action at the start of the year.
