In depth
Verdict
RAMSES DE TEILLEE was trying to give subsequent Wetherby winner Get On The Yager 9lb at Fontwell last month so that was probably a decent effort. He carries a penalty back in novice company but should still go close. Impulsive Star was only beaten a head by the improving Three Ways at Catterick on his second start over fences and will be fancied to go one better while Rons Dream is a useful hurdler and gets a mares’ allowance, though was pulled up on her only previous try over the larger obstacles. Barring accidents, Sussex Road is only making up the numbers.
