Xaarcet makes a quick reappearance after finishing fifth at Exeter on Tuesday but is on a long losing run. Faster ground could be a problem for Tanit River but he had Heurtevent back in third when winning a conditionals' race under Alan Johns at Warwick 11 days ago and can race off the same mark in this equally uninspiring contest. Flanagans Field has finished tailed off in his last three, however, including a seller last time while stablemate Stag Hill has had plenty of chances. We'll take a chance on the fitness of the first-time blinkered GOOCHYPOOCHYPRADER, who hasn't raced since November but wasn't beaten far off this mark at Plumpton a year ago in a much better race than this.
