Verdict

Abyaat has yet to win on the Flat as he was demoted to second having passed the post first over course and distance last year. He’s won over hurdles since then and can go close. But course specialist DISTANT HIGH has already scored three times over track and trip with her latest success coming in April and Richard Price’s mare gets the vote having placed here in three subsequent starts. It was soft ground when Hound Music won at Bath on her reappearance but she remains 8lb higher and Compton Mill is finding it difficult to win off his current mark.
