        Verdict

        Lamanver Pippin gained his only hurdles victory on heavy going but made too many mistakes on his chasing debut at Ffos Las last month. De Forgotten One battled to victory at Stratford on just his second start over fences and a 5lb rise is unlikely to rule out another big effort. Winning bumper Shaughnessy makes his debut over fences and has a break to overcome but he's a chasing type and could be on a lenient mark. FORTESCUE is only five but overcame early jumping problems to land a novices' handicap at Southwell. He's a real staying type who can defy a 5lb rise in the weights as Chimes Of Dylan's two victories have been on good ground.
