Verdict

Togiak didn't appear to relish the heavy going when favourite on his hurdling debut at Hereford eight days ago and conditions here aren't likely to be much different. The filly Pepite Rose won on heavy ground at Folkestone before finishing third on a quicker surface at Huntingdon and has claims, however, while Tiptronic won at huge odds at Hereford on his hurdles bow. But the latter will do well to follow up under a penalty on this stiffer track so newcomer HEAD HUNTED is preferred. Charlie Mann's gelding won a maiden handicap over 1m6f at Yarmouth last August and had decent form over further when there was plenty of give in the ground. He looks the type to do well over timber.
