In depth

Verdict

Super Villan is arguably the form choice here on his second to Global Power over a similar trip at Folkestone, but Point West has also shown some ability and hinted that a longer trip would suit when fifth over 2m3f at Exeter earlier this month. Bunglasha Lady, a staying-on fourth to Jetnova over 2m5f at Plumpton latest, and Cresswell Crusader, a bumper winner here last April, are others to catch the eye but MR BENNETT ran well for a long way on his reappearance until lack of condition told. David Pipe wouldn't have kept the lightly-raced eight-year-old in training if he didn't believe he had some potential and this son of Mister Mat can reverse the form of his comeback run with Super Villan here.
