Verdict
Uig has dropped to a fair mark and has to be respected in a race that should not take a great deal of winning but it is hard to get away from I'M IN THE PINK, who is preferred to Millfields Dreams. Giles Bravery's gelding lost no caste in defeat behind Cape Rock here over seven furlongs earlier in the month and he has every chance if able to reproduce a similar level of form over the longer trip tonight but is far from certain to stay this far so looks best watched. By Command has failed to show anything like the form that he did for John Dunlop in three starts for John Hills this season and of more interest may be Alan King's Latin Scholar, who has run well over hurdles in his last two starts. Paul Webber's Red Birr has slipped to a winning mark and has to be considered but he needs to step up on recent form, while Bespoke Boy has struggled since making a winning debut as a two-year-old and is readily discounted in a race taken to go to I'm In The Pink. The David Evans-trained gelding has shown improved form of late and a reproduction of the form shown when a close second over course and distance earlier this month may well suffice.
