In depth
Verdict
A poor field goes to post for this selling chase with recent form thin on the ground but the principals look to be Wot No Cash, River Styx and The Alleycat and we will take a chance on the last named. The gelding from the Richard Ford yard was an outpace sixth behind Panmure last time. However this stiffer track and longer distance should suit and he is taken to score in a race that will not take much winning. River Styx would have a chance on his best form but he was a well beaten third behind Nick The Jewel last time and his best form of late has been with more cut in the ground so for that reason he is opposed here. Wot No Cash is also worth of respect he was second behind Nick The Jewel last time out and on that form he has the beating of River Styx. The remainder in the field failed to complete the course on their last runs and are readily opposed and we are happy to stick with The Alleycat.
