Verdict

Sam Thomas keeps the ride on the Uttoxeter winner QUIPE ME POSTED and the duo can prevail again. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding is yet to prove he stays this trip but the hope is that as he matures his stamina will come to the fore. A 4lb rise for his May win looks lenient and he looks the call. Intac impressed at Wincanton the other day but the form looks just modest and a 6lb higher mark asks more questions, whilst runaway Uttoxeter winner Russellstown Boy was taking advantage of a basement mark earlier in the month but has been punished with a stone rise in the weights. The second home Mister Wiseman has a nice pull as he looks to find almost thirty lengths, and along with Power Shared is not ignored despite a mark of 103 looking high enough. Lucciolina is still owned by the Waley-Cohen's but is now in the care of Robin Dickin, whilst Quintessentially may improve now tackling fences; his yard appear to be in decent form in the early stage of the season.
