Verdict
Forest Silver gets the confident vote here with Glenary and Arctic Shadow rating the main dangers. The selection has shown enough in three runs to date to suggest he can win a race of this nature and under conditions that suit he is taken to put his experience to good use. Glenary rates the main danger as he is a well bred gelding by Presenting, brother to bumper winner Nelson's Spice and he will not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish so he should be noted in the market. Artic Shadow showed promise on his debut and is another that is sure to improve but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effecdt over a longer trip in time. Of the remainder Jivin' Johnny is another well bred type that could go well but for the winner we return to Forest Silver who sets a fair standard and will be hard to beat.
