In depth

Verdict

Shardakhan gets the confident vote here with Nudge And Nurdle and Leading Authority rating the main dangers. The selection has won his last two races in good style notably when beating Stagecoach Opal last time out, granted he is rising in the weights but he looks progressive has conditions to suit and he is taken to defy the handicapper. Nudge And Nurdle rates the main danger as he did not fare to badly at Cheltenham last time, this looks much easier and with his yard continuing in good form he should be watched in the market. Leading Authority is another that could go well on his best form but he was let down by his jumping last time so he can not be put forward with much confidence. The remainder would be much better off if this were a handicap and for the winner we return to the progressive Shardakhan
