In depth
Verdict
If fit enough for his return, Sure Future may be the answer over Fair Prospect, Diamonds Will Do and Dubai Seven Stars. Sure Future was very impressive when winning a class C contest at Kempton last December and has the scope to progress this term. Connections decided to give the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham a miss, and instead put him away to strengthen up. He has already schooled well over fences and will be going chasing at some point, whatever happens here. Diamonds Will Do comes from an in-form yard, and bids to get the losses back after her defeat at Southwell. She may now be in the handicapper's grip but the step back up in trip should help. Fair Prospect also left the money in the bookies' satchels last time when turned over at Wetherby. Something was obviously amiss as he had earlier hacked up on the Yorkshire track, so should not be ruled out here. Dubai Seven Stars has his first outing over hurdles since April but has been busy on the Flat. Last of 19 in the Cesarewitch, he is best watched today. Sure Future can begin where he left off-with a win.
