    Verdict

Petito can come good against the likes of Littledodayno, Chief Exec, The Crooked Ring and Mango Masher. Petito has had just the seven career outings, and ran his best race yet when a close third at Yarmouth 12-days ago. Having got rid of his jockey leaving the stalls at Nottingham the time before, that was a pleasing effort that should have boosted his confidence no end. With a top jockey booked to ride, hopes are high that he can break his duck. Littledodayno has been fancied more than once and is now on a handy mark, as well as having cheekpieces fitted for the first time. Chief Exec has shaped well on his last two starts, and The Crooked Ring showed signs of a return to form last time. So did Mango Masher, and there are plenty in with a shout in truth. With that in mind, just a small vote of confidence goes to Petito.
