    Verdict

Sweet World was beaten four lengths by Shy over 1m4f here last month and though subsequently successful twice over timber those races were on fast ground and the winner invariably runs well here. RECALCITRANT scored over a mile at Brighton a year ago and has gradually been dropping in the weights this summer. He has no problems with the longer trip and can gain the seventh victory of his career. The three-year-old Levantera will enjoy the conditions and looks a real threat from a lowly mark, while Chik's Dream is making steady progress and found 1m4f too far at Ffos Las a couple of weeks ago.
