In depth

Verdict

There will be plenty of interest here in Toby Lerone, who has won twice between the flags but was behind Big Society in a bumper here in April. Desert Joe was placed over hurdles at Towcester and Newbury last season while Tornado In Milan was second at Worcester in May and has plenty of scope for improvement. GOD OF THE KOP started favourite at Worcester last month and was staying on when badly impeded and falling two out. Providing that hasn't affected his confidence, Rebecca Curtis' charge could gain compensation here as Al Alfa's run at Fontwell suggested he'll need more time.
