Verdict

BE MY ROCK finished clear of the third when runner-up last time but had gone even closer in soft ground over a mile at Ffos Las before that. Rae Guest's filly is taken to make a winning handicap debut ahead of Albert Tatlock, a maiden winner over 6f at Redcar last month. Rocky Reef is more exposed but the handicapper refuses to relent while Gifted Dancer had to be dropped back into maiden company at Chepstow to register her first win. Baltic Bomber is a dual winner in lesser grade contests and this is also tougher than the race Outlaw Torn won at Wolverhampton recently.
