PERSIAN DELIGHT is likely to be favourite in this opener on the strength of his short-head second to Elegant Escape here in October and looks the one to beat. He’s been given plenty of time to get over that first run in a while and is preferred to French import Joueur Bresilien, third to Red Indian at Ffos Las earlier this month on his first start for new connections.
