Verdict

Arctic Gold was all out in the end at Sandown to hold on so a 5lb higher mark is a concern, though Tom Humphries takes off 7lb. Shantou Bob ran his best race for a while when second at Newbury and comes into the equation. Billy No Name arrives off a win at Lingfield but RED DEVIL LADS must go well if reproducing the form of his latest second at Ffos Las, though a 5lb rise has done him no favours. Ascot winner Desert Sensation is much improved while Rolling Dylan wasn’t winning out of turn at Uttoxeter last month, though that was only a maiden. Court King is a pound out of the handicap but has won three of his last four so may be a better bet than stablemate Awaywiththegreys.
