      Verdict

      FEED THE GOATER won a 7f Brighton maiden on fast going but stepped up on that to finish runner-up behind a stablemate over this trip at Newmarket when there was some give in the ground. He can get back to winning ways though Redcar winner Weather Front is a big threat as he'd been threatening to get his head in front before overcoming trouble in-running to score there. Finelcity landed an Epsom maiden over this trip in April and had very little chance back there in a Class 2 handicap. Monsieur Valentine is just 1lb higher than his victory over 7f here in August but hasn't been running well.
