In depth
Verdict
Mick Fitzgerald is an interesting booking for Waterloo Sam so watch for this one attracting any money, however we will side with Victom's Chance, who can beat the other form horse The Mick Weston. Noel Chance trains the selection who put up a a very promising display on his debut when finishing a three length second to the well regarded Netherley. This son of Old Vic is certain to improve for the outing and looks the one to beat. The Mick Weston carries a winners penalty after slaughtering his rivals at Cheltenham in October. He wasn't disgraced next time in a much better race and will be a tough nut to crack this afternoon. Pirate Flagship has a fascinating American pedigree and hails from a powerful yard so as with Waterloo Sam, keep a close eye on the betting market. So some interesting newcomers, but on this occasion we will stick with known form and give the vote to Victom's Chance
