Verdict

David Pipe's Peut Etre Sivola has paid the penalty at the hands of the handicapper for his wins at Chepstow and Fontwell and he has struggled since those successes so a better bet looks to be Jonjo O'Neill's QUAZY DE JOIE, who is preferred to stable companion Fourball. The last mentioned ran better when narrowly beaten at Warwick last month but a 2lb rise since then makes this more difficult and he may have to settle for minor honours again. The Alner's Laudamus makes his reappearance off a decent mark and the 12-year-old has to be considered on ground that suits, while Pipo De Re remains a maiden after 14 starts and is probably best watched. Power Pack Jack fell at Huntingdon on his most recent start last month and would have claims if his jumping held up but more solid claims are held by Quazy de Joie. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding got no further than the first fence at Market Rasen last time but earlier form at Lingfield and Warwick is decent and a reproduction of the form shown on those outings may be good enough for him to triumph today.
