In depth

Verdict

This is very competitive but Lisdoonvarna Lad will almost certainly improve for his fifth behind Eva's Oskar at Warwick. He didn’t take to fences last season but is looking well treated back over the smaller obstacles. Like Eva's Oskar, SANDY BOY is also on a hat-trick. He showed more resolution than Nifty At Fifty at Southwell and, though a pound worse off, can confirm running with Jeremy Scott’s maiden. The less-exposed No Rematch has improved with every run but this is a big step up in distance on his handicap debut. Accordingtogino is a similar type but Some Can Dance won twice over 3m1f at Carlisle last season so has no stamina worries.
