SEVERANO was unlucky to come up against some smart novices last season. He was was placed three times and was only 11 lengths behind a subsequent dual Grade 1 winner at Sandown on his final start in February. If he reproduces that run, he may be too good for these. Eason won the bumper on this card 12 months ago and was quite highly tried after. He’ll know his job and should be winning soon over timber. Arrivederci was a close third at Warwick earlier this month and will know more today while Fado Des Brosses may prove best of three winning hunter chasers making their hurdling debuts. Come On Teddy has shown promise but needs more.
