In depth

Verdict

SPEEDFUL had to race wide from a high draw over today’s trip at Kempton on his debut but ran well for fourth and the third has won subsequently. Paws For Thought faced a tougher task at Newbury on his debut and may well figure while Mark of The Man finished closer upped to 7f at Chelmsford last time. Obtuse wasn’t beaten far when only fourth at Wolverhampton and steps up in distance along with Doonbeg Farmer, last of only three runners at Goodwood. Sun Festival is a full brother to a winner and makes most appeal of the newcomers.
