      Verdict

      Northern Fling gets the vote in a competitive opener with Dimboola and Invincible Force rated as the main dangers. The selection won well over course and distance last time when beating Dress To Impress. He had the plum draw that day but was dropped in behind, so the fact that he is drawn in stall 3 will not inconvenience him today. He handles the course well and looks progressive and gets our vote. Dimboola was a little disappointing in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot last time, but this is much easier and as his yard do well here and he has the plum draw he has to be respected. Invincible Force won well at Warwick last time but he will need to improve again to get competitive here, although he does have a good draw. Mind The Style may prove best of the rest, but for the winner we are happy to return to Northern Fling.
