Verdict
Handsome Cross looks to have plenty in his favour and he is taken to land the finale with Smokin Beau and Plateau rated as the main dangers. The selection is a course and distance winner and he lost no caste in defeat when he finished second behind Magic Glade here last time. He has a decent draw and he should take plenty of beating with ground conditions also to suit. Smokin Beau has not won for nearly a year but he is on a fair mark. He would hold decent claims if it was not for his wide draw which will make life very tough. Plateau is held by our selection on their running at Musselburgh last time but he does have a fair draw and he holds solid place claims. Coconut Moon has been running well of late and he is another that should give punters a decent run, but Handsome Cross is our confident choice to land the finale.
