Verdict

TARTAN GUNNA is the selection with Resort and Hunterview others to make the shortlist. The selection has been in rude health this year with three victories already in the bag. Admittedly, Beverley is some way different as far as tracks go but there could still be more to come. Resort is potentially unexposed. A daughter of Gay Gallanta, she has demonstrated a good attitude in her racecourse starts. Hunterview won off a mark of 78 at Southwell. Any rain would not be a problem. Imco Spirit makes a first run on turf having raced exclusively on the artificial surfaces in Ireland. Goliaths Boy was tried in listed company last season in France and is probably the pick of the two Richard Fahey runners. Fareer looked in need of the run first time out and should have come on for it. Foundation Room's breeding suggested that anything achieved at two would be a bonus. A fair handicap with plenty of chances and Tartan Gunna is selected.
