Verdict
SWILLY FERRY is the pick with Metal Soldier and Bebenine as the alternatives. Barry Hills has had a good record with his runners in this race and he could add to that peerless statistic with his Brocklesby third. That run suggested that she would be better for the experience and the form could be given a boost by Archers Road on Wednesday. Metal Soldier has a likeable enough pedigree. He has already had the unkindest cut of all. Bebenine shapes with plenty of early pace. He can confirm form with Reel Credit Crunch this afternoon. Bossy Kitty bombed the start at Beverley and is surely capable of better. Angelena Ballerina is a daughter of Indian Haven but she has been done few favours by the draw. Swilly Filly looks hard to get away from and we seek not to.
