In depth

Verdict

Finoah has form at the track and Richard Kingscote prefers him to Wild Edric, who has already had a run this year. Pass The Gin has already won over course and distance and he looked unlucky behind Leodis Dream at Sandown. Three Card Trick will have benefited from his run behind the same horse at Thirsk and looks to be on a fair mark but the Ryan colt will have to take his medicine from stall 14. Quiet Endeavour is fit from the all-weather and could stage a revival back on Turf but this could chiefly concern the two at the head of the weights. After solid efforts at Pontefract and Newmarket, Chapelli was just beaten in Listed company at Chelmsford but COSMIC LAW, also drawn near the inside, might be the value. Gelded over the winter, he runs in his first handicap having mixed it in top company in his first season.
