Recent Kempton winner Gossiping was just beaten at this meeting last year so warrants respect and the booking of De Sousa for the returning Dark Intention catches the eye. Humble Gratitude was second off a 4lb higher mark here last season while Queen's Sargent was a promising third at Doncaster on his reappearance. GIN IN THE INN (NAP) has only raced over 7f once before and only beaten a short-head in this very race in 2017 when 2lb higher. He has a good draw and a talented 5lb claimer on board so can go one better this year. Elerfaan remains unexposed so looks the pick of the remainder.
