Verdict
Fine Cut was heavily supported to land a Dundalk handicap off a mark of 64 and duly obliged. He was raised a massive 16lb for his next start there but managed to complete the double, though this is very much tougher. See The Sun has returned to action in good form and the fact that he was a long way behind stablemate VENTURA MIST in Redcar's Two-Year-Old Trophy shouldn't be held against him. The winner had the cobwebs blown off at Newmarket last month and looks ready to score again. Viva Verglas was also a long way behind at Redcar while Blithe Spirit, who has won her last two starts on the track, is starting to look high in the ratings though Jason Hart's claim will help. Fine 'n Dandy may be best watched for the moment as he's been gelded and ran poorly on his reappearance.
