Verdict

Plenty of these are in fine form and it promises to be a hot little sprint with most having a decent chance, but we'll side with MANDURAH ahead of Titus Andronicus and Tyrannosaurus Rex. Dandy Nicholls has won this race four times in the last nine years, and Mandurah can improve that record for him. He won a similar contest on his penultimate run, but although he's 10 pounds higher now, he's the sort that can bounce back. From a poor draw he'll need to be sharply away though. Tyrannosaurus Rex has weight in hand on all, and has shown himself adept on the all-weather and turf. With a decent draw, he could certainly attract some each-way support, but having won two of his last three races and been placed in the other, a win is far from out of the question. Titus Andronicus is usually at the vanguard which can help here, and was a little unlucky not to win last time out. Kevin Ryan's having a cracking season, although he's been getting more seconds than win just recently. It's hugely competitive and the betting ring could be lively, with our preference for Mandurah.
