In depth
Verdict
Green Manalishi is taken to overcome a slightly wide draw and return to winning form at the main expense of the wonderfully consistent Enchantment and Melody King. The last named ran well for a long way at Bath last time when fourth behind Delegate and well drawn in stall 2 could make them all go. Enchantment lost nothing in defeat in a conditions event at Sandown when second to the short priced favourite Benbaun and has been the epitome of consistency but she is passed over. Gerard Butler's Dvinsky makes his seasonal bow and was most impressive when easily overcoming Mahmoom at Goodwood last September but first time out this he is probably best watched and we go for Green Manalishi. A winner of a very competitive event at Newmarket, he travelled well for a long way before finding Zilch three lengths too good at Windsor next time. That was over six furlongs and back to the minimum trip tonight Green Manalishi , drawn wider than his principal rivals in stall 9, can come with a late run and pick off the pacesetters.
