      Verdict

Queenstown has claims at the weights but the lack of a recent run is of concern and preference is for Tranquil Sky who gets the vote over Hoh Bleu Dee. The last mentioned is trained by Sylvester Kirk, who is also responsible for Fit To Fly, and is well treated judged by official BHB ratings. However, on recent evidence he has plenty to find with the selection. The William Haggas-trained Arkholme showed that his turn would not be far in coming when second in similar company at Newmarket last time and he has to be respected with Darryll Holland booked. Binnion Bay has claims at the weights but has given little sign of encouragement of late, while Moscow Times may struggle to give weight away all round. The vote then goes to Neville Callaghan's Tranquil Sky, who needs only to reproduce early season handicap form behind Gatwick and Penrith to win this.
