Verdict

Canonbury should go well but was arguably a little disappointing when only third of six in a Bath maiden last month and FLOWER OF LOVE showed sufficient promise on her belated debut to suggest she's more than capable of landing an ordinary maiden for Simon Crisford. The Poet's Voice filly took time to get the hang of things but came home to some effect and should have benefited greatly from that sensible introduction from Andrea Atzeni. Casablanca came on a ton for her Nottingham debut when a good second at Kempton and is definite player here and Apache Song and La Celebs Ville are not ruled out although more exposed than the aforementioned trio.
