        Verdict

        This should be quite some thrill for these amateurs in what promises to be a helter-skelter occasion with BALTIC PRINCE a hopeful choice. He hasn't won since last September but that success arrived over course and distance on good to soft ground so he should prove well suited to this challenge. He arrives is good form, goes well for an apprentice or amateur pilot and inhabits a workable mark of 69, up 1lb for a good effort at Goodwood last time. Echo Of Lightning will prove popular with the excellent Simon Walker aboard and he makes the shortlist along with hat-trick seeking Ellaal, and recent winners Depth Charge and course and distance scorer Character Onesie.
