    Verdict

SEARCHING was surprisingly turned over at short odds at Ripon having scored readily here in May, but with the form of his victory receiving a number of boosts in the interim, we will give Roger Varian's gelding the chance to return to winning ways. Rib Reserve was never sighted in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot though his form in maidens looks smart and includes a highly creditable third to Irish Derby runner-up Storm The Stars at Leicester. A visor appeared to work the oracle for Banditry at Epsom. Michael Bell's colt continues to perform at a consistent level and this will be his fourth start within the space of a month. Cyril beat Belle Travers when the pair met at Pontefract and he can confirm places.
