Indian Maiden was not surprisingly outclassed in Haydock's Sprint Cup last week but should be too good fro his rivals today and is taken to make the most of this drop in grade, with Pivotal's Princess and All For Laura expected to provide the main opposition. The selection was a winner in this grade over course and distance in July and has run to a similar level of ability since then at The Curragh and Pontefract prior to his outing in the Sprint Cup. Well berthed in stall two, the Malcolm Saunders-trained mare should be able to take advantage of her decent draw. David Barker has his string of sprinters in good from at present and recent Haydock handicap winner Sierra Vista has to be respected along with Irish raider Slip Dance, who has been freshened up by a break and has claims if fit enough. Ed McMahon's Pivotal's Princess is less exposed than most of these but may ideally want a softer surface and a bigger threat may come from David Loder's All For Laura, who has not done a great deal wrong including in this grade last time. Indian Maiden has an obvious chance though and she gets the vote.
